Enjoy the crisp fall air and find the perfect statement piece for your home during the River Clay Fine Arts Festival 2023. More than 65 artists from North Alabama, the Southeast and beyond will be in town to share their unique creations. But art isn’t all you will find at the family-friendly festival!
In fact, there will be live music, food trucks, student art exhibits, chalk art, children’s activities and more. River Clay celebrates visual art in all its beautiful forms, including paintings, ceramics, drawings, jewelry, metalwork, woodwork, mixed media, photography and more.
While the main event is the weekend festival, the fun actually kicks off on Friday night with the River Clay Rendezvous.

The Rendezvous is what it sounds like. Guests will get to meet and greet the participating artists while being the first to see the available art. That means revelers will get first dibs on all the fine art for sale at the festival!
What’s more, a ticket for the preview party includes a weekend pass to the festival. Find out more about the preview event and buy your tickets before Friday, October 20th. The River Clay Rendezvous starts at 5 p.m. at the City Hall Campus festival site.
Then, at 7 p.m., ticket holders are invited to a special social at the Alabama Center for the Arts for even more food, fun and art.
