For starters, Tropical Smoothie Café in Decatur celebrated their grand opening weekend from Saturday, May 20th, through Sunday, May 21st, at their new location on Sixth Avenue!
Just in time for the summer heat, Tropical Smoothie is serving up cool, tasty treats like their seasonal mocktails. Have you had the chance to stop by and try the new Strawberry Margarita, Island Punch or a returning favorite, the Watermelon Mojito, smoothies yet?
If not, don’t sweat it! You can visit them Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday, they are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., while Sunday hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
But don’t just expect smoothies and healthy juices on the menu.
The menu
More than just smoothies, Tropical Smoothie Café in Decatur also serves fresh-made wraps, flatbreads, sandwiches, quesadillas and salads. And don’t forget breakfast!
Tropical Smoothie Café offers what they call a “fan fave” with the “Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread.” It’s peanut butter, banana, granola and honey served on a flatbread. Or, you can choose from the “All American Wrap” or the “Southwest Wrap.”
For lunch or dinner, choices range from “Thai Chicken Salad” to the “Turkey Bacon Ranch” sandwich to the “Santa Fe Quesadilla” to the “Chicken Pesto Flatbread.” There is a kids’ menu and sides like “Maple-Kissed Sweet Potatoes” and more.

You can find Tropical Smoothie Café in Decatur at 2127 6th Ave. SE, which is about two miles from Summer Key Apartments. That means you can be sipping a smoothie and snacking on a sandwich after a six-minute drive.
