Save the date! Riverfest BBQ and Music Festival 2021 is back! Get your groove back Friday, August 27th, with live music, and come hungry Saturday, August 28th, for the best BBQ around.
What to Expect
To put it simply, visitors can expect three things. First, award-winning BBQ. Second, live music. Third, activities to keep the kids busy!
Plus, you are giving to a good cause! All proceeds benefit Mosaic Mentoring of North Alabama. This community-based nonprofit is a mentoring program for youth and families.
However, one new feature special to this year’s event is a new partner—Bama-Q TV Way Down South. Not familiar with Bama-Q? It’s a saucy 30-minute TV show hosted by Alabama Barbecue Association professional BBQ teams. They offer barbecue, grilling, side dishing and downhome living tips.
Hence, the award-winning barbecue.
Two-Step Down to the River
Riverfest BBQ and Music Festival 2021 kicks off Friday, August 27th, with local bands taking the stage at Ingalls Harbor at 5 p.m. before the headlining act. Wondering who that is? Platinum-selling country music group Parmalee!
The band of brothers, a cousin and longtime best friend have taken the country music scene by storm since arriving in 2016. According to their website, they are one of four country groups since 2001 to have three consecutive top 10 singles from a debut album.
